"The Rain That Stayed".

Hey there, folks! (Sending you a chill little wave)

Welcome back to 'Yours Mindfully'

You know, that cozy corner where we pause, breathe, and maybe feel a little more human so here’s the thing last night hit different.

It was one of those nights.

The kind where your brain in overdrive thoughts jumping around like they’ve had too much caffeine. Not super deep, not even heavy just loud and right when I thought I’d just ride it out under the covers.

A storm hit.

Not wild, not messy....just… sudden. Like the sky was trying to get my attention. So I got up.Opened the window

Wow.

The rain wasn’t pouring it was drizzling, like it didn’t want to make a big deal out of it just enough to tap me on the face, soft like a memory I hadn’t made yet.It felt weirdly familiar. Like someone I once knew, brushing hair off my forehead without saying a word.

And for a moment everything stopped. No ticking clock, no buzzing phone, no thoughts chasing their own tails.

Just… stillness.

It wasn’t sad. It wasn’t even deep.

It just was.

And honestly it felt kind of perfect.Because we’re always running, right?

Waiting for something to change, trying to get somewhere, scrolling through noise.

But that little moment?

That tiny pause in the middle of a storm?

It felt like the world telling me

“Hey, you. Just be here. That’s enough.”

No big message. No life lesson.

Just a nudge from the sky saying, “Slow down, you’re missing it.”

So I did.I stood there, let the rain hit me, didn’t overthink it.Just breathed. Just felt.

And I think that’s all we really need sometimes.

So hey, maybe this is your sign too.To take the pause.

Open your window.

Feel the rain.

And let yourself just exist for a sec.

Until next time,

Yours mindfully.
