A Golden Cage

Hey guys, 👋🏻  It's been a long time, and I just got a random thoughtin the middle of the night or let it be a short story. There was a bird that struggled a lot to learn how to fly. After a long time, it finally realized its potential, learned to fly, and began aiming to fly high, very high. There was also a man who owned the bird. Instead of letting it fly, all he did was break its wings while providing everything it needed. He gave it food, care, and nurtured it, literally everything he can do he did it for the bird yet he wondered why the bird still didn’t love him. Doesn’t that make sense? Man’s perspective:  I gave everything, still why didn’t the bird value me? Bird’s perspective:  You took the only thing that made me myself. I randomly got this thought while turning over the pages of my book, especially during the chapter on boundaries . This story aligns with boundaries, choosing yourself , and self-love .
